Member of John Wesley Chapel as per Carolyn Dibble.

Hello,

I was recently directed to your web site.

My great grandmother was Lydia Marfwld. I belive that she was part of this line.

She came to America and she married Stephen Dando June 1851. Her birthday was somewhere between 1824 -1825. She was originally from the area of Blaenovon, Wales. After her death in 1870 she had a sister Elizabeth (Betty) 1813-1883 who came to America to tend the children. Their parents were supposed to be members of the John Wesley Chapel.

Stephen Dando was supposedly also from that area. He came to America in 1846 with an uncle supposedly after he lost his entire immediate family from an influenza outbreak.

I would appreciate any additional assistance you might be able to give. Maybe you could direct me to searchable web sites.

Sincerly,

Carolyn Dibble
