Day 26 in our garden

I must admit that early on in the day I didn’t expect to have a new species to tick off for today; partly because the weather meant I was not going to spend much time in the garden. But here we are, one new species for the series and two photos of it.

I have seen and heard Jays over the last week or so but they have been in the distant big trees. This one flew from the trees towards and then around our house to perch in a tree at the back of our house. It only spent a few seconds there before heading off to the distant trees again.
