On the 2nd May 2025 I found myself on Bradford Rd., Shipley with some time to kill so I took my camera around parts of Northcliffe Park. A pleasant walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The header image is of the top of Carr Lane\/Gaisby Lane taken from Northcliffe Park with a long lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northcliffe Park<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I kept my eyes and ears open for birds. There were plenty of Great Tits singing, Blue Tits and Crows. I also heard several Song Thrush but the only time I got sight of one it had also seen me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This posting therefore majors on the swathes of Wild Garlic and Bluebells that were under the trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps I will head back some time because I understand there are a number of Ring Necked Parakeets in the area. I often hear them around in numerous places but I have not tried to get any decent photos of them yet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you are using a phone the caption can take up most of the space of the thumbnail so you might find it easier to turn your phone to landscape to open the gallery. I am hoping to change that for the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
