Here are some photos from early June. As usual you can click on the image to view it full size on flickr.<\/p>\n<p>Most mornings on the way to work I walk through Robert&#8217;s Park instead of walking round the edges of it.<\/p>\n<p>The light in the mornings can shine off the cricket pavilion quite brightly. This was taken on the morning of 8 June 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"PM7_2732\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19873692659\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/359\/19873692659_bb4fc5fd37_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2732\" width=\"640\" height=\"241\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>I often have a walk through the park at lunch time too. There are several things from the Spring\/Summer that I have seen and heard in Robert&#8217;s Park. For example a squirrel&#8217;s drey, no photo, and lots of Nuthatch. They have been very noisy. But this is one of the birds that is easy to spot. A Robin posed nicely on a tree stump on the morning of 10 June 2015. <a title=\"PM7_2743\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/20034080246\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/469\/20034080246_6abaf8fa2b_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2743\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The morning sun was also catching this Grey Heron on the weir at Saltaire.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"PM7_2766\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19873710039\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/303\/19873710039_ace1eea5b1_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2766\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The weir was particularly frothy on this morning.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"PM7_2767\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/20065720021\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/369\/20065720021_57e90cde44_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2767\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>At lunchtime on 10 June I walked down the Leeds Liverpool canal hoping to improve on my Sparrow\/Mayfly photo (next year perhaps) and met this character stalking along the canal side.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"PM7_2969\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19872405220\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/321\/19872405220_4954217e27_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2969\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t like to be stabbed by that beak, it looks quite sharp and mean. But how do they get the fish down that throat? It only looks big enough for tiddlers.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"PM7_2984\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19872296638\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/554\/19872296638_2ce0dea5af_z.jpg\" alt=\"PM7_2984\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>And for those wanting to know what Sparrow\/Mayfly photo I want to improve on &#8211; it&#8217;s this one.
