{"id":1275,"date":"2015-07-31T20:35:57","date_gmt":"2015-07-31T20:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marfell.me.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1275"},"modified":"2015-07-31T20:35:57","modified_gmt":"2015-07-31T20:35:57","slug":"birds-in-harold-park-bradford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marfell.me.uk\/wordpress\/birds-in-harold-park-bradford\/","title":{"rendered":"Birds in Harold Park, Bradford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Though a lot of my time is spent playing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ingress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ingress <\/a>I still often take my camera with me and I was pleased I had done when I went to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/maps\/@53.7563385,-1.7743807,17z?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Harold Park<\/a> in Bradford.<\/p>\n<p>This particular visit to the &#8220;portals&#8221; of Harold Park was on 9 May 2015. Yep! It has taken me quite a while to get around to posting them.<\/p>\n<p>There were lots of Swallows flying over the surface of the water so I sat on the edge and watched them for a while and did my best to get some photos of them. It was not easy.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Swallows in Harold Park, Bradford\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19556044484\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/385\/19556044484_edeec067de_z.jpg\" alt=\"Swallows in Harold Park, Bradford\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The sky was grey and overcast (it is raining in the last shot) so the birds were black against the water. This is 4 flying over the water. The agility of the birds is quite amazing.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Swallows in Harold Park, Bradford\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/19557724343\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/501\/19557724343_bec23d88f7_z.jpg\" alt=\"Swallows in Harold Park, Bradford\" width=\"640\" height=\"341\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>This Coot went off to the edge of the water and pulled at some plants and then paddled back to the little island in the middle of the water and gave it to the one sitting on the nest.
