These are a few photos from a visit to Baildon Moor early in May 2026. The header image is the only one I edited into a shape that better suits a header, it is a view of the wind farm and shows one of them facing in the opposite direction to all the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the things I enjoy on Baildon Moor this time of the year is the drumming Snipe and I am quite pleased with this photo of one of them. At Rodley Nature Reserve<\/a> and to some extent High Royds pond I have had decent views of Snipe wading but hearing them drumming as they fly around and dive is quite special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The others are Oystercatcher in flight, singing Wren, female Stonechat, male Stonechat, Whitethroat, and Willow Warbler<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
