Here are some more taken from down on the river Aire in Baildon. By this time I was heading back home.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Kingfisher\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/35507564305\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4285\/35507564305_3da1c7b66f_z.jpg\" alt=\"Kingfisher\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But a Kingfisher was obligingly perched on a branch in the river. If the view is clear enough this looks like a male Kingfisher. The lower beak of a female has an orange tint to it, the beak of a male is all black.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Kingfisher\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/35340440012\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4232\/35340440012_7ed6b88e5f_z.jpg\" alt=\"Kingfisher\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is just near the East entrance to the Denso Marston Nature Reserve.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Kingfisher\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarfell\/35468223216\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/5\/4217\/35468223216_7de6963e19_z.jpg\" alt=\"Kingfisher\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After catching a small fish it then flew across to the other side of the river and I had to leave it or be late for my evening\u00a0meal.<\/p>\n<p>As usual you can click on any of the images to view them higher resolution on Flickr.
