On Thursday, just after midday I got a phone call saying that some small birds were in the Alder trees at DMNR<\/a>. Because of the light they tended to show as silhouettes which made it tricky to identify them. So down I went with my binoculars and camera. Considering that it was early afternoon the light was terrible hence the rather grainy photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
