{"id":678,"date":"2012-11-14T21:58:38","date_gmt":"2012-11-14T21:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marfell.me.uk\/wordpress\/?p=678"},"modified":"2012-11-14T21:58:38","modified_gmt":"2012-11-14T21:58:38","slug":"bird-sightings-today-in-roberts-park-141112","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marfell.me.uk\/wordpress\/bird-sightings-today-in-roberts-park-141112\/","title":{"rendered":"Bird Sightings today in Robert&#8217;s Park 14\/11\/12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Perhaps I am stretching it slightly with the title because this bird, a Manadarin Duck, was on the edge of the Leeds Liverpool Canal this morning which is the wrong side of the river for Robert&#8217;s Park. They are very ornate and this photo does not do it justice. The stripes on the sides, like moire fringes, almost pull at your eyes. I had to stalk it a little to get a photo. I took this one from the muddy edge of the river in Robert&#8217;s Park.
