I am lucky enough to walk throough Robert’s Park on the way to work in the morning. And as a result work are lucky to see me get there. There are many mornings when I could have just wondered off with my camera. The morning of 9th October was one such day. It also happens to be my wife’s birthday but I don’t think that influenced the beauty of the morning, or did it?
Walking along Thompson Lane with the hedgerows sounding of Sparrows is a great start to the day but often, looking up and down the river on such mornings can be special. It is so difficult to capture some of these things in a photo but I have tried with these.
I often stop and look over the weir from the bridge but on this morning I had to go around into the park and take a few shots to show the effects of the sunrising.
As usual you can click on the image to see it on Flickr.
Looking up river on such mornings is also special.
There is often a faint misty cloud or so around the weir due to the turbulence of the water but on these mornings it is not just the weir.
And the canal also looks different on such mornings
