    At Ben Rhydding Gravel Pits, breeding signs were apparent with a broken Blackbird egg found. A male Orange Tip butterfly was also seen, though it remained mostly stationary due to the cold despite warm sun spells. Chiffchaffs, elusive at first, eventually came into camera range.
