My ramblings, my photos, photography, image editing, etc.

Baildon Moor. A few minutes in Jan.

This Sunday I took my legs and camera to Baildon Moor. I walked North along the path near the wall from the junction with Glen Road, Bingley Road and Glovershaw Lane. It was chilly and parts of the ground were frozen but other parts were very squelchy.

West, over the wall, I could hear Pheasant but couldn’t see any. Along the wall are a few bushes/trees and I spotted a couple of small birds in them. I think one was a Meadow Pipit but this, I think, is a female Reed Bunting. Please let me know if you think I am wrong.

When out and about I try to keep looking around because you never know what is going to show itself – Red Kite, Buzzards, Pheasant, Stoat etc. And while looking over the golf course this Barn Owl flew along heading over Bingley Road. This meant that the evening sun, well 16:00 sun, was on it, so I am quite pleased with it.

It seems that the gallery functionality is broken in this website theme so you can tap on the image to see it larger but the navigation to the next image is broken for me.
