Moorside, Willy Wood, Tong Park Dam 20 Apr ’24

On Saturday I had a wander down Heygate Lane to Moorside and over to Tong Park Dam. It’s quite a while since I went over that way.

Here’s a few photos from the walk. Some of the trees are quite green, others are only just sprouting their leaves. There didn’t seem to be anything special though I did spend sometime watching and listening to the Little Grebes. Most of the time they were hidden in the plants in the middle of the water shouting at each other. The Roe Deer was a good distance away, pretty much over on the golf course.
