Originally the Rounding off of February was going to be one post but I decided to split this into several posts. This one is for the walks on Baildon Moor and in Baildon centre.
As usual you can tap/touch/click on an image, not its caption, to see it in better quality in the gallery. If you are using a phone this can be quite tricky to do because the caption takes up most of the space of the thumbnail, you might find it easier to turn your phone to landscape. I am hoping to change that for the site. You can also leave comments or subscribe to the site – leave your email address and you will get notified when I publish something new.
Baildon Moor
These few are from a walk on Baildon Moor along the path North of the cattle grid on Glovershaw Lane.

Curlew and Lapwing are gathering on the edges of Baildon Moor, sorting out their nesting spots on the ground. Skylark and Meadow Pipits will be doing the same. Dogs must be on short leads during this time.
In places the ground is really soft and water logged such that deep tracks left by Deer could be seen.
Baildon
These photos are from the centre of Baildon showing some of the changes of use of the spaces and buildings.
I will be putting some of them on baildonwiki
St John’s Church no longer has Ian Clough Hall hiding it.

Some of the buildings are/were owned by Bradford Council but are now for sale/sold. Let’s hope that this does not badly affect the businesses that in those buildings.
