Sparrow and the Mayfly

Some of you may have seen this before. The photo isn’t perfect but it took me 3 years of trying to get one this good, so, if nothing more, I should get a A for persistence.

A friend at work sent me details of a local photo competition and suggested I entered something, so here goes. I have now added this photo to the Natural Beauty Competition – Leeds flickr group. There are some excellent entries but if I don’t enter I don’t stand much chance of winning.

I might dig out some other photos and enter some more.
