I enjoy my lunch-time walks in Robert’s Park but one of my hopes is that I get a clear photo of a Goldcrest. I am still working on it. This is my latest attempt:-
When I get close to the trees in the hunt for the Goldcrest I sometimes get spied on by Blackbirds. The Mistle Thrushes and Redwings tend to be a bit secretive. This Blackbird had its beady eye on me.
The more normal place to see the Mistle Thrushes is up in the tops of the trees like in this shot of the top of a Cedar/Cypress(?) tree.
