More Little Birds from Thompson Lane

Here’s a couple more photos from Thompson Lane, Baildon. I mentioned Sparrows in my last post so here is a photo of one this time.

I often think of Sparrows as being drab brown birds but they actually look quite smart.

And here again is a Chiffchaff obligingly close. I’m pretty sure it is one of a breeding pair with the nest close by. You can be forgiven for thinking of these as drab brown birds, but one thing that makes them a little more interesting is that it’s quite possibly up here after having spent winter in southern Europe or north Africa
