My ramblings, my photos, photography, image editing, etc.

Early September photos from our garden

We have had a few spells of sunshine recently and the butterflies seem to have enjoyed it.

There are still a few flowers on our Buddleia and several Painted Ladies have been making the most of it.

Red Admirals were much more common than the Painted Ladies. At one time I would say that there were 12 or so Red Admirals with only 3 Painted Ladies. This is nothing compared to the number of Painted Ladies we had back in August 2019 – More Painted Ladies

During one time in the front garden I heard some screeching and looked up to see a Buzzard go out of sight. I made sure I had my camera ready in case it returned. I soon spotted 2 large birds. At one point one of them tucked its wings in and dived until it was closer to the other.
